This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and attention to sanitation. The position requires at least 1 year of food preparation experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a current food safety certification.

Qualifications

• 1 year prior experience in food preparation in commercial, military, or institutional settings preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Food and Safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Cook food as directed in the facility's production plan, follow recipes, and maintain production records.
• Prepare meals according to scheduling and sanitation standards and ensure food quality.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of food preparation and handling techniques.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation rules and practices.
• Work independently with proper direction and manage hot entrees, soups and vegetables.
