Opportunity:

As a Cook, you are responsible for preparing food products that meet the standards for all restaurants, banquets, and a la carte services, ensuring quality, consistency, and appropriate surroundings.

Responsibilities of a Cook include:
  1. Prepare all foods necessary for service according to culinary standards.
  2. Produce quantities based on forecast and par levels.
  3. Manage ordering and inventory control, including ordering according to established pars and filling out prep lists daily.
  4. Rotate food stocks (first in, first out) and assist in monthly inventory as needed.
  5. Maintain sanitation, ensure foods do not fall in the temperature danger zone, and follow food safety policies.
Safety:
  1. Follow knife safety standards and be aware of hazards.
  2. Understand and maintain all equipment used in your duties.

This is a part-time, year-round position, working weekdays and weekends with shifts between 8:00 am and 10:30 pm.

Skills/Requirements:
  1. Basic culinary knowledge and ability to execute recipes accurately.
  2. Ability to work food prep and salad stations.
  3. Preferred: High school diploma or fluency in English.
  4. Physical ability to sit, stand, twist, bend, push, pull, walk, and lift up to 50 pounds for up to 10 hours daily.
  5. Ability to work in temperature-extreme environments.
Additional Information:

Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. Hourly pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00, influenced by experience, education, and location.
