Responsibilities

• Monitor the preparation of all food products to ensure they meet all food safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and supply food items to the cook's line.
• Prepare foods using the prep list to ensure fresh product.
• Maintain proper heat levels on the grill to ensure proper cooking surface.
• Complete HACCP accurately and notify a manager when items are not correct.
• Prepare product tags and stock items for designated work area.
• Prepare food to specifications.
• Ensure a steady flow of products reaching expo with no production breaks.
• Monitor food prep to meet restaurant standards.
• Open and close the kitchen efficiently.
• Monitor flow of supplies to the line to prevent delays.
• Maintain sanitation and personal hygiene standards.
• Know all menu items, ingredients and portions.
• Keep the work area clean and organized.
• Follow rotation, cleanliness, storage rules, and food use guidelines.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean and maintain equipment for designated area.
• Perform all side work as required.
