TumbleweedRestaurant in the United States is seeking a Cook to join our team. This role offers a flexible work schedule with hourly pay ranging from $11 to $14 and a variety of benefits including health care, paid time off, a 401(k) plan, a Roth plan, and holiday time off.

Responsibilities include ensuring food safety and quality, preparing items for the line, maintaining proper cooking temperatures, and supporting a clean, organized kitchen. Eligibility for some benefits will apply per policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the preparation of all food products to ensure they meet all food safety and quality standards.
• Prepare and supply food items to the cook's line.
• Prepare foods using the preplist to ensure fresh product.
• Maintain proper cooking surface temperature on the grill.
• Complete HACCP accurately and notify a manager when items are not correct.
• Prepare product tags and stock items for designated work area.
• Prepare food to specifications.
• Ensure a steady flow of products reaching expo with no production breaks.
• Monitor the preparation of food to meet Tumbleweed standards.
• Open and close the kitchen efficiently.
• Monitor the flow of supplies to the line to avoid delays.
• Maintain personal cleanliness and hygiene standards.
• Know all menu items, ingredients and portions thoroughly.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and compliant with cleanliness rules.
• Adhere to safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Clean and maintain equipment for the work area.
• Perform all side work as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned
