Noble Hearts HR Consulting Inc. is seeking dependable Cook Helpers for immediate per diem opportunities in secure juvenile facilities across Brooklyn and Manhattan, NYC. Flexible shifts in a 24/7 environment with weekend availability required.

Pay rate is $21.54 per hour with weekly pay and per diem scheduling. Candidates with kitchen, food prep, hospitality, childcare, or institutional support experience are encouraged to apply; Spanish-speaking applicants are welcome.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen, food prep, or food service experience preferred.
• Institutional, facility, or commercial kitchen experience is a plus.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 40–50 lbs.
• Must be dependable, punctual, and adaptable.
• Must be able to pass required background clearances.

Responsibilities

• Assist Cooks with food preparation and meal service.
• Wash, chop, portion, and prepare ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and organized kitchen environment.
• Safely operate kitchen tools and equipment.
• Follow recipes, portion guidelines, and food safety procedures.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and organizing supplies.
• Work professionally alongside facility staff and security personnel.

Noble Hearts HR Consulting & Staffing is seeking dependable and motivated Cook Helpers for immediate opportunities within secure juvenile facilities throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan. We are hiring for flexible Per Diem assignments within a 24/7 facility environment, with schedules varying based on operational needs.

This role is ideal for candidates with kitchen, food prep, hospitality, customer service, childcare, warehouse, or institutional support experience who are looking for flexible work opportunities in NYC facilities.
