ParadigmWorks Group, Inc. is seeking a Cook Helper to join Hartford Job Corps Center's Food Services team. The role requires ServSafe certification and a schedule of M, W, T, F 6am-3pm and Sunday 9am-6pm, with a pay rate of $19.23/hour.

Qualifications

• ServSafe certification is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Set up and breakdown the serving line.
• Set up, dismantle and clean the salad bar.
• Rotate perishables to ensure fresh items for students.
• Wash, cut, and chop vegetables, fruits, meats as needed.
• Prepare dips and condiments.
• Measure ingredients for meals.
• Prepare sandwiches and other items.
• Prep for breakfast and lunch service.
• Assist on the serving line.
• Operate the dishwasher when required.
• Wash pots, pans and cooking utensils.
• Wipe and sanitize surfaces.
• Sweep and mop the lunchroom and kitchen prep areas daily.
• Take out trash and maintain sanitary standards.
