Responsibilities include following instructions from the Cook Manager or Cook regarding heating, cooking, and pre-dishing food, setting up serving areas, and portioning, garnishing, and serving food items.

Assist in clean-up of kitchen and serving areas, adhering to safety and sanitation standards in handling, storing, and serving food.

Accurately perform record-keeping functions as requested.

Assist in food preparation and perform point-of-sale and cashier duties as part of kitchen rotation.

Perform other similar duties as assigned.

ServSafe Certification is desirable; computer experience is helpful.

Must be able to follow oral and written directions, possess basic math skills, and enjoy working with students.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required for effective interaction with coworkers, supervisors, and the public.

Ability to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds, as assessed through a pre-placement physical at Concentra.

Work Schedule:
4-6 hours per day, with applicant’s choice in half-hour increments. Building assignment may change based on staffing needs.
Wages and Benefits:
