Position Details
  • Pay Range: $18.18/hr (fixed)
  • Location: Springfield High School
  • Type: Part-time, 4 hours/day, 188 days/year
  • Start Date: August 2025 (school year 25/26)
  • Salary: $18.18/hr with a $1,500 bonus in November
Responsibilities
  • Assist the Head Cook in food preparation following standard operating procedures
  • Adhere to cashier operations and regulatory compliance
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Serve as a contact for issues at the assigned school and report promptly
  • Assist in inventory management and complete required paperwork
  • Ensure safe storage and handling of food and supplies
  • Work as a cashier when needed
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience in a volume kitchen preferred
  • Flexible schedule and willingness to participate in professional development
  • Ability to relate to students from diverse backgrounds

Additional Information
