Who We Are:
The Springfield City School District, home to The John Legend Theatre, is seeking a Cook Helper/Cashier (3 hours per day) for the 2025-2026 school year. We serve approximately 7,500 Pre-K through 12 students in 17 state-of-the-art buildings. We value diversity and aim to foster social and emotional growth through various initiatives and facilities like the YouMedia Center, which offers activities such as 3-D printing, graphic design, and videography. As a Cook Helper/Cashier, you are required to:

As a Cook Helper/Cashier, you will:

• Take direction from the Head Cook

What We Offer:
This position is for 3 hours per day, 188 days per year, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 12:00 pm or as assigned. Starting salary is $18.18/hour. All employees receive professional development. The position is for the 25/26 school year, starting in August. A $1,500 bonus is paid in November.
