Job summary

Mankato Area Public Schools is seeking a Cook Helper for Dakota Meadows Middle School. The position runs 7:45 am to 1:45 pm, five days a week, totaling six hours daily. Begin as soon as possible to support the meal program.

The Cook Helper will assist the Cook Manager and 2nd cook with meal preparation, serving, and documentation to ensure nutritious, properly prepared meals delivered on time for students.

Cook Helper

Dakota Meadows Middle School

There is a position available for a Cook Helper at Dakota Meadows Middle School beginning as soon as possible. This position is for 6 hours per day/5 days per week (7:45 am - 1:45 pm).

Summary of Duties:

The Cook Helper will assist the Cook Manager and 2nd cook in preparation, planning, documentation and serving of the school meal programs ensuring the nutrition and proper preparation of meals, and having them ready on a timely basis.

Qualifications Required:

This position will be filled on the basis of the experience, competency, and qualifications of the applicant and the needs of the District. District 77 complies with state and federal fair employment regulations.
