Responsibilities:

1. Preparing fresh food items daily and accurately
2. Set up and stocking of stations with all necessary supplies
3. Menu and product knowledge
4. Managing orders efficiently
5. Preparing catering orders
6. Proper food handling and storage of food products
7. Maintaining proper hygiene, uniform, and appearance
8. Maintaining health department standards throughout each shift
9. Cleaning and maintaining kitchen, dish, and prep areas
10. Performing shift-side work to include opening and closing duties
11. Completing all course certifications for Kitchen Team Members in our training platform

Qualifications:

1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Experienced preferred but not required - we will train you!
3. Proper knife skills
4. Ability to operate all necessary kitchen equipment
5. Good communication skills
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
7. Ability to work independently and collaborate with the team as necessary
8. Strong work ethic with passion and urgency
9. Dependable and reliable
10. Work flexible schedule
11. Professional attitude and respect for coworkers, the establishment, and the brand

All Employees Must:

1. Understand and abide by all company standards and policies (provided in your handbook)
2. Obtain a Food Handler’s card shortly after beginning employment

Your Working Conditions/ Hours:

A typical work day at Taziki’s may look like:

1. Morning shift - 8am - 4pm
2. Evenings - 4pm - 10pm
3. Weekends - when applicable
4. Holidays - when applicable (always CLOSED Thanksgiving & Christmas!)

*Hours will vary by store.

You'll work in a typical restaurant kitchen environment which includes but is not limited to using equipment such as a flattop and char grill, oven, slicer, mixer and food processor.

Your Physical Requirements:
