Key Job Functions:
  1. Prepare, sauté, broil, fry, bake, and grill food items according to kitchen needs.
  2. Operate kitchen equipment such as grill, fryer, broiler, oven, French top, and blast chiller.
  3. Perform preliminary preparation work promptly.
  4. Ensure ingredient supply levels are accurate.
  5. Move items from shelves to carts and transport to stations for restocking.
  6. Maintain appropriate levels of food items at assigned stations.
  7. Keep work areas clean and organized, free of debris.
  8. Properly care for, store, and clean all tools and equipment.
  9. Follow zoning procedures, store and return products and equipment properly.
  10. Handle perishables correctly, maintaining quality and safety.
  11. Prepare food according to recipes and standards, responding positively to training.
  12. Communicate effectively with team members and acknowledge leadership instructions professionally.
  13. Perform daily cleaning of kitchen equipment and work areas to meet sanitation standards.
  14. Support safety and accident prevention programs.
  15. Adhere to waste disposal standards.
  16. Perform other duties as assigned.
  17. Present oneself professionally, representing Caesars Entertainment positively.
Education and/or Experience:
  • Preferred: High School diploma or equivalent; over one year of culinary experience or formal education.
Qualifications:
  • Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Neat appearance and good personal hygiene.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow recipes precisely.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 100 lbs, push or pull 70 lbs, and perform various physical tasks including reaching, bending, and standing for up to four hours.
Work Environment:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment handling multiple tasks under time constraints.
  • Handle high business volume and sensitive situations promptly.
  • Work in areas with dust, secondhand smoke, noise, temperature variations, lighting, vibration, crowds, and varying air quality.
  • Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
