Base pay range

$15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Temp-Stop started in 1998 and has grown to 10 Convenience Store locations and 2 Liquor Stores. WE NEED YOU TO BE A PART OF OUR FAMILY!

• Starting pay is $15.00 an hour for a store associate. If you have experience, starting pay can be higher.
• Earn an additional $.50 cents per hour from midnight to 6 a.m. (see company policy upon accepting a position).
• Earn a performance review in as little as 90 days, with annual reviews thereafter.
• Health Insurance is available within 90 days of your starting date.
• Vacation Pay, Overtime pay over 40 hours, Annual Bonus based on store profits, Overtime pay for Holidays.

Job Duties: CHAMPS CHICKEN

• Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner
• Follow recipes and presentation specifications
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Clean and maintain station, practicing good safety and sanitation
• Assist with cleaning and organization of kitchen and equipment
• Restock items as needed throughout the shift
• Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes

Pay Frequency

Bi-weekly or Twice monthly

Additional Role: Cashier

The function of a cashier is to perform duties in a friendly and professional manner, ensuring high customer service and store appearance. Responsibilities include:

• Customer Service
• Running a cash register, including accountability for cash, lottery tickets, cash cards, etc.
• Completing shift reports
• Cleaning (windows, floors, bathrooms, trash)
• Stocking shelves and coolers
• Sweeping and mopping floors
• Checking product deliveries
• Yard maintenance (sweeping, shoveling, painting, gas wells)
• Merchandising
• Other tasks assigned by management
• Communication with associates and guests
• Accurate reading, writing, and paperwork completion
• Wearing store uniform
• Availability for weekend, evening shifts, and holidays
• Reliable transportation
• Attendance at mandatory meetings
• Physical requirements: bending, reaching, lifting 1-15 lbs regularly, occasional lifting up to 50 lbs, mobility around store
