Job summary

Georgetown/Cambridge Manors in Grandville, MI is seeking a Part-Time Cook to join a caring, family-like team. You will prepare and serve nutritionally balanced meals to residents and help keep the kitchen and dining areas clean.

Shifts available: 6am-2pm and 2pm-7pm. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, passion for our mission, and at least one year cooking experience in long term care or assisted living, with good communication and teamwork.

As Cook, you will have the opportunity to prepare and serve nutritionally balanced, quality food to residents as directed by the Food Service Director. You are responsible for keeping the equipment, kitchen, and dining areas clean.

Qualified candidates will possess:

• A passion for our mission of caring for people as they age.
• High school diploma or GED
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative work style
• One year of experience cooking/baking and preparing special diets in a long term care or assisted living setting OR a combination of education and experience

Shifts Available - Part-time,6am-2pm & 2pm-7pm
