Job summary

Windsor Atrium in Harlingen, TX seeks a Cook to prepare resident meals per diet specifications and facility procedures. You will follow safe food handling and sanitation standards, using scheduled menus and maintaining clean work areas.

The role requires knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods with a Texas Food Handler Certificate preferred. Prior SNF experience is a plus and being able to follow oral and written directions is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate is preferred.
• Knowledge of food preparation, sanitation, and hygienic methods.
• Knowledge of Universal Precautions and rules that govern hazardous waste.
• Previous experience in skilled nursing facility is preferred.
• Ability to follow oral and written directions.
