Summerlin Hospital is a 485-bed facility offering emergency services, a busy maternity department with approximately 450 deliveries per month, a Children’s Medical Center with NICU, pediatric ICU, and pediatric ER; advanced cardiovascular care, surgical services, women’s health, and oncology care. It is an accredited Chest Pain with PCI facility and a Primary Stroke Center, receiving multiple awards from the American Heart Association’s Get with the Guidelines program.

Responsible for the timely preparation, seasoning, and cooking of food for patients, employees, physicians, and visitors. Performs similar or related duties as required.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from a formal institutional cooking program is preferred.
Experience: Previous experience is preferred.
License/Certification: Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler’s Safety Training Card.
Other: Ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate service to patients.
