Job summary

Senior Lifestyle's Addington Place of Clarkston is seeking a Cook for full-time evening shifts. You will prepare meals for residents, guests and staff, using the daily planner and standard recipes, and assist on the food line during meals.

Experience in production cooking or therapeutic diets is preferred. You should communicate clearly in English, have basic computer skills (Excel/Word), and be able to maintain safety and sanitation standards while delivering friendly, high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Experience in production cooking and/or preparing therapeutic diets is preferred.
• Able to communicate clearly in English.
• Willing to obtain food handling and sanitation licenses.
• Basic computer skills; entry-level proficiency with Excel and Word required.
• Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
• Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor toward residents and co-workers.

• Mostly evenings, occasional mornings + every other weekend.
• Prepare all food using the daily planner and SLC standard recipes.
