Cook (Full-Time) - The Reserve at Mills Farm

The Reserve at Mills Farm is seeking a Full-Time cook to assist in the preparation, oversight, and serving of meals. Our cooks are responsible for delivering top-notch food service in a high-quality, cutting-edge Independent/Assisted Living and Memory Care Community. The successful candidate will employ their culinary and managerial skills to maintain and enhance our residents' satisfaction.

Requirements
  • Maintains a current ServSafe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the training to become ServSafe certified
  • High School diploma or GED accepted
  • A culinary apprenticeship or training is preferred
  • One (1) year of job-related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items, and therapeutic diets
  • Must be 16 years or older; in NC, 18 years or older if operating power-driven machines
  • Three years' experience in healthcare, hospitality, or service environment preferred
  • Culinary arts experience preferred
  • CPR & First-Aid certifications preferred
  • Ability to work in a safe environment without health or safety threats
  • Ability to work well with others and promote teamwork
