What you will do:

Create and prepare food items and act as liaison to front-of-house employees to ensure proper food service is being delivered.

Responsibilities:
  • Cleans food preparation areas according to law and company policy
  • Prepares foods to client specifications
  • Prepares food before guest arrival
  • Adjusts food items for guests with allergies or diet concerns
  • Manages kitchen staff
  • Seasons food per recipes or needs
  • Orders ingredients and spices
  • Operates kitchen appliances
  • Portions, arranges, and garnishes food
  • Assists other cooks
  • Devises new recipes
  • Estimates food consumption and organizes prep
  • Keeps records of food purchases
  • Orders new menu items
  • Butchers and cooks meat as needed
  • Ensures quality customer experience
  • Prepares sauces and accompaniments
  • Stays open until last customer leaves
  • Offers creative menu options
  • Cleans after hours
  • Communicates with owner for improvements
  • Alters dishes based on feedback
Requirements:
  • Basic computational and organizational skills

  • Culinary arts knowledge, including kitchen equipment and butchering

Pay Range: $16.70 - $24.20, based on experience, skills, and education. Pay may vary by location.
