Position: Cook
Job Overview: Cooks are responsible for creating great guest experiences by serving quality food in a timely manner. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, preparing, cooking, assembling orders, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete all required training, including Zaxbys Back of House Development Plan and station-specific training
- Provide friendly, enthusiastic service to guests
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and represent the Zaxbys brand positively
- Assist with guest service and front of house operations as needed
- Prepare menu items according to standards in a safe and sanitary manner
- Handle food and beverages following safety regulations
- Operate food preparation equipment safely
- Maintain product levels and prepare food promptly
- Assemble and package orders accurately
- Keep work areas clean and organized
- Manage inventory, receive deliveries, and store food safely
- Report maintenance needs and assist with inventory management
- Complete tasks efficiently and safely, following all safety guidelines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Must be 16 years of age or older
- Ability to work 32 to 40 hours per week
Capability Requirements:
- Stand, walk, and sit as needed; occasionally stoop, bend, crouch, or climb
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly
- Use hands and wrists for manipulation
- Communicate effectively through speech, reading, and writing
- Perceive environment visually and auditorily to respond appropriately
- Work in temperature-varied environments and around food allergens
- Operate restaurant equipment safely, including knives and fryers
