As a Cook, you are an essential part of our culinary team, responsible for preparing fresh, scratch-made meals that meet the highest standards of taste, quality, and nutrition. Your expertise in cooking ensures that every meal is served on time and with care, from following recipes to maintaining a clean and organized kitchen. What you will do

  • Prepare and serve high-quality meals made with fresh ingredients, following recipes and standards.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace, ensuring compliance with food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to create an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
  • Contribute to menu innovation and support our mission of providing REAL food.
  • Engage with guests and team members with respect, humility, and a passion for great service.
  • Monitor food stock levels and assist with inventory management for efficiency and minimize waste.
  • Adapt to changing menus and kitchen needs with a flexible and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and supporting overall kitchen responsibilities.

What you will need

  • ServSafe Certification and State Food Handlers Card
  • Successful candidates must meet eligibility criteria, including the ability to undergo and successfully complete a criminal background check and drug screen in accordance with applicable State laws and regulations.
  • High School Diploma/GED
  • A positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and a commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Previous food service or culinary experience
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varied shifts as needed.
  • Physical and Sensory Requirements
    Must sit, stand, and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours). Requires frequent use of hands for tasks like cooking, preparing food, patient care, writing, and computer entry. Must lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally push carts (30 lbs.) or wheelchairs (up to 325 lbs.). Regularly bends, stoops, and reaches above shoulder level. Requires normal hearing and good overall vision.
