Shift: 11:30am - 7:00pm

We seek a candidate with a positive attitude towards customer service to act as a Cook for our Independent facility. The ideal candidate strives for excellence, creativity, and goal-oriented work.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare soups, stocks, sauces, and cook items via boiling, braising, roasting following recipes.
  • Cook and serve sautéed, fried, grilled, steamed, baked foods per recipes.
  • Ensure all food served adheres to standard recipes and dietary needs.
  • Plan food production to match meal times, maintaining quality and appearance.
  • Determine quantities needed and ensure timely procurement of supplies.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent preferred but not required.
  • Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
  • Basic arithmetic and measurement skills.
  • Minimum three years of cooking experience in hospitality or similar establishments.
  • Knowledge of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, nutrition, and diet.
  • Effective planning and organizational skills.
  • Ability to interpret recipes, instructions, and standards accurately.
