• Location: Wolfgang Puck Catering OP02 - 2509 Orchard Parkway, San Jose, CA 95131. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules, Monday through Friday, hours may vary; AM shifts. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Previous prep cooking experience is required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food following standards and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties:

• Prepares high-quality food according to recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals using correct portions, ensuring proper temperature and presentation. Tastes all foods.
• Uses established procedures during service, maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, follows safe food handling.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in planning, record keeping, ordering, and reporting.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety meetings, maintains good relationships, performs duties safely.
• Follows HACCP standards, proper presentation, and portion control.
• Adheres to all safety policies, including use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
