Job Opening: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

Morrison Healthcare is hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Cook positions at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital, Charleston, SC. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time shifts, Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 7:00 pm, with rotating weekends. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: No prior experience required. Willing to train!

Pay Rate: $17.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties:

  • Prepare high-quality food using standardized recipes.
  • Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist with production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
  • Report maintenance issues and participate in safety meetings.
  • Follow all safety policies, including proper use of protective gear and safe lifting techniques.
