Job Opening: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

Sign-on Bonus: $1500!!!

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time Cook positions at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, 3300 Gallows Road, Falls Church, VA 22042. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Various shifts including 6:00 am - 2:00 pm, 5:00 am - 1:00 pm, or 7:00 am - 3:00 pm. Must be able to work every other weekend. More details provided during interview.

Requirement: At least 1 year of cooking experience.

Perks: $1,500 sign-on bonus, paid half at 90 days and half at 180 days of service. Pay rate: $15.90/hour.

Job Summary

Essential Duties:

• Prepare high-quality food following recipes and schedules.
• Serve meals with proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
• Follow ticket procedures and maintain records during service.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist with production planning, ordering, and reporting.
• Report maintenance issues immediately.
• Participate in safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good relationships with team and customers.
• Follow HACCP standards and safety policies, including the use of protective gear.
