• Location: AdventHealth Fish Memorial - 1055 Saxon Boulevard, Orange City, FL 32763. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Flexible schedules between 5:30 am and 7:30 pm, including every other weekend; more details upon interview.
• Requirement: One year of previous cook experience is preferred but not required.
• Pay Range: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per standardized recipes to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and stores excess food following safety procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance needs and safety issues immediately.
• Participates in safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with team members and customers.
• Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and temperature.
• Adheres to all safety policies, including proper glove, oven mitt, and slip-resistant shoe use.
