We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Prepares high-quality food items according to standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food items.
3. Uses established ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records from the area worked.
4. Cleans kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Stores or discards excess food safely.
5. Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized, ensuring proper storage standards.
6. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
7. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
8. Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
9. Reports maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents immediately.
10. Attends in-service and safety meetings.
11. Maintains good working relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
12. Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
13. Performs other duties as assigned.
14. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
15. Commits to safety for oneself and others.
16. Follows all company policies, including safety and proper equipment handling.
