Responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality food items per standardized recipes to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Use established ticket‑collection procedures during service; maintain records of area worked.
• Clean kitchen after preparation and service, maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Store or discard excess food in accordance with safe food‑handling procedures.
• Maintain refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized; store items per standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies.
• Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to supervisor immediately.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Perform job safely, maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Commit to personal safety and that of others.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including: use of gloves, oven mitts, slip‑resistant shoes.

Qualifications

• No previous experience required.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Required to pass Florida Level 2 background screening (if applicable).
