Location

Azalea Court Assisted Living - 508 East Church Street, Headland, AL 36345. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule

Full-time and part-time schedules available. Monday - Friday, 6:00 am - 2:00 pm or 10:00 am - 6:30 pm, including weekends. More details provided upon interview.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet production and service schedules.
2. Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Taste all prepared food items.
3. Use established ticketing procedures during service and maintain records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food handling procedures.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
6. Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintain good relationships with coworkers and management.
10. Follow safety standards such as HACCP, proper glove and equipment use, and proper lifting techniques.
