Job Description: Cook at Morrison Healthcare

We are hiring immediately for full-time and part-time COOK positions at Morrison Healthcare, located at Prisma Health Greer, 830 South Buncombe Road, Greer, SC 29650. Online applications are accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time; days and hours may vary, with a 5:00 am start time and rotating weekends. More details provided during the interview.

Pay Range: $18.50 to $19.25 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepare high-quality food items following recipes and schedules.
2. Serve meals, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all items.
3. Follow ticket procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
4. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, adhering to safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
6. Assist with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
8. Attend safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintain positive working relationships with staff and clients.
10. Follow HACCP standards for food safety and presentation.
11. Adhere to all safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
