Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM (Full-time and Part‑time schedules available)

Pay

$15.50 to $15.75 per hour

Job Summary

Responsible for preparing food in accordance with applicable federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring high‑quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare high‑quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery, and service schedules.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and attractiveness; taste all prepared items.
• Use established ticket collection procedures during service and maintain accurate records.
• Clean and maintain the kitchen after preparation and serving, and store or discard excess food per safe food‑handling procedures.
• Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean, neat, and compliant with storage standards.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and reporting as required.
• Assist in ordering and receiving all food and supplies as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
• Attend in‑service and safety meetings.
• Maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators, and managers.
• Ensure work is performed safely in a clean and safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Ensure proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to safety for yourself and others.
• Abide by all company policies and procedures, including use of appropriate gloves, protective gear, and safe lifting techniques.
• If applicable, use medium‑weight cut gloves when handling knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins, or when cleaning a slicer.
• If applicable, use oven mitts, fryer gloves, or steamer gloves when handling hot pans from ovens, warmers, or steam tables.
• If applicable, wear slip‑resistant shoes and use proper lifting techniques.
