Job summary

QSL Management is seeking a Cook for The Blake at Township, a senior living community, to cover full-time shifts from 6a to 6p.

The role requires preparation and cooking per menus, maintaining kitchen standards, and flexibility to work holidays and weekends. Education in culinary arts preferred; 2 years' experience advisable; strong knife skills and a caring, service-oriented mindset are valued.

Qualifications

• Must have a caring heart and be willing to serve others.
• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Culinary education (trade school/associate/bachelor's) preferred.
• 2 years of related culinary experience.
• Self-motivation and creativity in culinary.
• Good knife skills and familiarity with cooking methods.
• Experience with therapeutic/modified diets preferred.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends.

We are currently looking for a Cook for The Blake at Township

Primary Responsibilities of the Cook:

• Prep, plan and cook meals according to established menus
• Demonstrates a commitment to excellence in food quality and service quality
• Maintains or exceeds standards of a kitchen environment that promotes teamwork, safety, proper hygiene and cleanliness Stock supplies as needed
• Willingness to work in a senior living environment and prepare food which meets or exceeds hospitality and service standards.

Requirements

Education/Experience
