We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Flik Hospitality Group.

Location: Kirkland & Ellis Chicago - 333 Wolf Point, Chicago, IL 60654 (online applications accepted only).

Schedule: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. More details provided upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepare food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items following standardized recipes.
• Serve meals with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation; taste all food items.
• Use ticket procedures during service; maintain records.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas; follow safe food-handling procedures.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues and accidents immediately.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain good relationships with staff and customers.
• Follow safety protocols, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
