Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Cook to prepare meals for residents, using standardized recipes and menus, while ensuring top quality, taste, and presentation. You will follow dietary modifications, record temperatures, and maintain a safe, clean kitchen environment.

This role also involves stock and storage duties, log maintenance, and supporting dining service as needed. Join a team dedicated to safety, compliance, and a positive dining experience for all residents.

• Ensure food quality, taste, and presentation meet Sunrise standards
• Follow dietary modifications and special meal requirements
• Record production quantities and food safety temperatures
• Stock, rotate, date, and store food per safety regulations
• Maintain clean kitchen, storage, and equipment areas
• Complete cleaning logs and equipment maintenance reports
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and OSHA guidelines
• Support dishwashing and dining service as needed
• Lead food production in the absence of the Dining Services Coordinator
• You help create an enjoyable dining experience while ensuring safety and compliance
