Mercy Hospital St. Louis is seeking a dedicated food production worker to oversee kitchen operations across the department, ensuring high-quality, visually appealing dishes are prepared efficiently.
The role requires knowledge of various cooking methods, basic math, time management, and strong interpersonal skills. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, with physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
This individual is responsible to food production in all areas of the department. A knowledge of all methods of cookery is required for this position. The individual must be able to produce a quality, eye appealing product within an allotted amount of time. Performs related duties as assigned.

Working Conditions, Mental and Physical Requirements: Equipment Used: All food preparation equipment including oven, grill, chopper, slicer, blender, mixer, and steamer Also able to push, pull and grip 50 pounds and pinch 10 pounds.
