• Location: Spartanburg Medical Center - 101 East Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC 29303. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary. Midday until close. Some weekends required. More details upon interview.
• Requirement: Two years of prior grill cook experience required.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
• Serve meals or prepare for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Use ticket collection procedures during service; maintain records.
• Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, store or discard excess food properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of refrigerators and storerooms; ensure proper storage of food and supplies.
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
• Assist in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Report maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attend safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintain good working relationships with colleagues and supervisors.
• Follow safety standards, HACCP standards, and company policies.
