We are hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions at Genentech, located at 475 East Grand Avenue, South San Francisco, CA 94080. Online applications are accepted only.

Requirements: Previous culinary experience is required.

Perks: Travel, housing, and a cell phone stipend are offered.

Pay Range: $22.00 to $24.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality and safety at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepare high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
  • Serve meals with proper portioning and temperature, ensuring attractive presentation.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas.
  • Operate and maintain kitchen equipment.
  • Assist in production planning, ordering, and record keeping.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly.
  • Attend safety and in-service meetings.
  • Follow all safety standards and policies, including HACCP standards.
