• Location: Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health - 60 Miles Road, Rutland, MA 01543. Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: Full-time; Tuesday through Saturday. Hours may vary. More details upon interview.

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Prepares high-quality food items following recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all food.
3. Uses ticket collection procedures during service. Maintains records from work area.
4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
5. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
6. Assists with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
7. Reports maintenance needs or accidents immediately.
8. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
9. Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
10. Follows safety standards, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
11. Performs other duties as assigned.
12. Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
13. Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
