Bass Pro Shops is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our busy kitchen in Richmond, VA. The Cook ensures guests receive high-quality food items prepared in a clean, timely manner.

In this full-time role you will follow recipes, maintain plate specifications, ring items through the POS, restock stations, and uphold health, safety, and sanitation standards.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Cook ensures all guests receive the highest quality food items served from an immaculate kitchen in a timely manner.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Prepares menu items as ordered for restaurant patrons and strictly adhering to recipe guidelines,
• Ensures all prepared menu items meet quality expectations and plate specifications 100% of the time.
• Rings all prepared menu items through the POS system.
• Restocks work station with food products as needed.
• Follows proper personal hygiene and sanitation standards set by health department.
• Follows proper food storage, handling and preparation standards.
• Adheres to Ecosure standards at all times.
• Maintains a clean and safe working environment by following safety guidelines at all times
• Completes and abides by all training requirements.
• ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to work as a team.

• Constant moving and standing

INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT

Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.

Starting Pay Rate: $2.13 - $250.00
