Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items per recipes and instructions.
• Serves meals with correct portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all prepared food.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service. Maintains records from work area.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following food safety procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in planning, record keeping, ordering, and receiving supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Follows HACCP standards and safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
