Job summary

Forest Ridge is a 374 unit independent senior living community located in Hales Corners, WI, seeking a Cook - Full Time to join our kitchen team. The standard shift is 8am–5pm with a one-hour unpaid lunch break.

Flexibility to cover other shifts is required; most holidays are included Monday–Friday; weekends are not required. The role offers a highly competitive base wage and comprehensive benefits including PTO, holidays, and facility amenities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a lead/head cook position in a senior community or licensed kitchen.
• Current SERV Safe certification; may consider providing an opportunity to obtain after hire.

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced cook to join our team at our award-winning senior living community!

Forest Ridge is a 374 unit independent senior living community located in Hales Corners. We offer assisted living services to our residents as a registered Residential Care Apartment Complex, and have an AL census of 10-12 residents with licensure up to 24. We are looking to grow our services and are seeking the right candidate to fill this important role

Full Time, standard shift is 8am - 5pm with a one-hour, unpaid lunch break

Must be able to flex the schedule to cover other positions; morning start of 7:30am, afternoon shift end time, 6pm, when coverage is necessary. Does include most holidays that fall within Monday - Friday. No weekends.

What you would need to offer:

Minimum 1 year in a lead/head cook position, ideally in a senior community setting. Current SERV Safe certification required; may consider providing an opportunity to obtain after hire; ability to read and understand written labels and verbal instructions, experience working in a licensed full production kitchen. Experience creating menus, ordering food and supplies, and coaching fellow team members
