Unidine is hiring immediately for full-time COOK positions.

  • Location: Green Fields of Geneva - 0N801 Friendship Way, Geneva, IL 60134. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time schedules. Days may vary, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm, 11:00 am to 8:00 pm; more details upon interview.
  • Requirement: No experience necessary. Willing to train!
  • Pay Range: $17.00 to $22.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to applicable standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes to meet schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
  • Uses established ticket procedures during service; responsible for records during service periods.
  • Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, stores or discards excess food per safety procedures.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms organized and clean.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment as instructed.
  • Assists in production planning, record keeping, and reporting.
  • Assists in ordering and receiving food and supplies.
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  • Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and management.
  • Performs job safely, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Ensures proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures, following HACCP standards.
  • Prioritizes safety for oneself and others.
  • Follows all company policies, including safety protocols when handling kitchen tools and equipment.
