Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Prepares high-quality food items per recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
  • Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring proper portioning, temperature, and presentation. Tastes all food items.
  • Uses ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
  • Cleans kitchen after use, maintains high cleanliness standards, and stores/discards excess food safely.
  • Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and organized.
  • Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
  • Assists with production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  • Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  • Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  • Maintains good relationships with coworkers and customers.
  • Follows safety standards, including HACCP, and company policies on safety equipment and techniques.
