Job Title: Cook

We are hiring immediately for a full-time Cook position at Eurest.

Location: American Electric Power - 1 Riverside Plaza, Columbus, OH 43215. Note: online applications accepted only.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm. More details will be provided during the interview.

Requirements: Previous cook experience is preferred but not required. *Internal Employee Referral Bonus Available

Pay Range: $18.50 to $19.00 per hour

Job Summary

Summary: Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, ensuring quality service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares high-quality food items following standardized recipes.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, and presentation.
• Uses ticket collection procedures during service and maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety meetings and maintains good relationships with staff and customers.
• Follows HACCP standards and all safety policies, including proper use of protective equipment.
