Job summary

Life Care Services is seeking an experienced Cook to join the culinary team at Clarendale of Chandler. The position is full-time with varied hours, including weekends and holidays.

You will prepare all food per recipes, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and participate in ongoing training to ensure exceptional resident dining experiences. Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar.
• Ability to plan and organize work and interpret recipes and standards.
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance.
• Basic understanding of English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe, sanitary workstation and personal hygiene.
• Attend in-service trainings and education sessions as assigned.

• Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.

General Summary:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes as well as cleaning duties in the kitchen.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
