The Clarendale of Chandler in Chandler, Arizona is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team. This full-time position requires preparing meals per standardized recipes, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen while supporting service on weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year’s experience as a Cook in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar.
• Ability to plan and organize work and interpret recipes and standards.
• Basic English proficiency.

• Keep workstation clean, follow dress code, and attend training sessions.

Who you are:

• Ability to communicate effectively and perform simple arithmetic.
• A minimum of one year’s experience as a Cook with responsibilities in a hotel, restaurant, club, or similar institution
• Ability to plan and organize work, to interpret instructions, recipes, specifications, and standards
• Knowledge of kitchen equipment operations and maintenance
• Basic understanding of English

General Summary:

The Cook is responsible for the preparation of all food items as per standardized recipes as well as cleaning duties in the kitchen.

Essential Job Duties:

• Maintains assigned workstation in a safe and sanitary condition.
• Maintains acceptable standards of personal hygiene and complies with department dress code.
• Attends in-service training and education sessions, as assigned.
• Performs specific work duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
