The Woods at Cedar Run in Camp Hill, PA is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our Dining Team. You will prepare nutritious and appealing meals for residents following established menus and dietary guidelines.

Schedule includes 6:00 AM-2:00 PM and 11:00 AM-7:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday required. You will lead in the kitchen, coordinate operations, and support staff to create a welcoming dining experience.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience is preferred.
• Culinary education or training is a plus.
• Passion for cooking and providing quality meals.
• Comfortable taking the lead in a kitchen.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoys interacting with seniors and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals according to established menus and recipes
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appealing, and prepared according to residents' dietary needs
• Serve as a leader in the kitchen during meal service
• Help coordinate kitchen operations and ensure all tasks are completed
• Guide and support waitstaff and dishwashers as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Follow all food safety and sanitation standards
• Interact with residents and respond professionally to questions or concerns

This is a great opportunity for an experienced cook, culinary graduate, or someone looking to build their skills in senior living. You'll prepare nutritious and delicious meals while helping create a positive dining experience for our residents.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• 6:00 AM-2:00 PM
