Job Summary

Prepares food according to standards, guidelines, and regulations, ensuring quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions to meet schedules.
• Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste. Tastes all prepared food.
• Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
• Maintains cleanliness of kitchen, stores or discards excess food safely.
• Keeps refrigerators and storerooms clean and well-organized.
• Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
• Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
• Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
• Attends safety and in-service meetings.
• Maintains good relationships with coworkers, customers, and managers.
• Follows HACCP standards and proper presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
• Adheres to all safety policies, including using gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and proper lifting techniques.
