The Cook will:

• Have knowledge and understanding of dietary and cooking techniques
• Follow dietary orders and recipes accurately
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively
• Promote and follow food and dietary sanitation practices
• Adhere to state, federal, and facility dietary policies and procedures
• Promote and facilitate teamwork
• Demonstrate a high standard of ethics
• Be dependable
• Demonstrate excellent customer service

Cook must have the following:

• Availability to work weekends and some holidays
• Effective communication skills with families, guests, and co-workers
• Ability to promote a positive environment and teamwork
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work every other weekend
• Hold a valid Food Handler's certificate
