  • Location: Yonder Behavioral Health - 7341 East Alexandria Pike, Berea, KY 40403
  • Schedule: Full-time, days and hours may vary. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: At least 2 years of cook experience required.
  • Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food according to federal, state, and corporate standards, guidelines, and regulations. Ensures quality food service at all times.

Essential Duties
  1. Prepares high-quality food items according to recipes and instructions.
  2. Serves meals or prepares for delivery, ensuring correct portioning, temperature, attractiveness, and taste.
  3. Uses established ticket procedures during service and maintains records.
  4. Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and storage areas, following safe food-handling procedures.
  5. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment.
  6. Assists in production planning, record keeping, and ordering supplies.
  7. Reports maintenance issues or accidents immediately.
  8. Attends safety and in-service meetings.
  9. Maintains good relationships with coworkers and clients.
  10. Follows HACCP standards for presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  11. Adheres to safety policies, including proper use of gloves, oven mitts, slip-resistant shoes, and lifting techniques.
